I’m a big design/art nerd. When living in NYC, I used to just wander the streets and take pictures of whatever I saw and liked. While in Chiang Mai (Northern Thailand), we were staying on the outskirts of town at the B2 Ayatana Premier Resort. Why? They had a pool and it was hot. Don’t get me wrong, the resort was great, just the location was not so great.
On our full first day in town we decided to head out and walk into the city center, and then to the Night Bazaar. All of that was probably 3km, maybe more. So on our way into town we were lucky enough to see a lot of street art/graffiti. Some by broken down buildings, some down narrow alleys. Check out the gallery above to enjoy some of the stuff we saw. The eye images were all over town. All in all, some pretty cool stuff with great color.
Where did we stay in Chiang Mai?
B2 Ayatana Premier Resort – A little outside of downtown Chiang Mai, but a great hotel with a nice breakfast & relaxing pool.
